When I first heard of Vicki’s book, I thought that the focus of the book would be her memory improvement techniques and how she had used them to improve the minds of individuals whom the medical profession had “given up on.” What I found, to my surprise, was that, although her techniques played a part in the success of the individuals she worked with, it was something much more special that made the difference; it was Vicki’s heart and spirit that accounted for the breakthroughs. What made it even more special was that, in writing the book, Vicki seems to be unaware of what a special person she is.

I enjoyed the book tremendously and know that anyone who reads it will too. It will renew your faith in what can be accomplished with a simple human touch.

5 starsInsight into the illness
By Amazon Customer on December 13, 2015

What is unique about this book is that the author addresses the emotional component of the illness. No one else has done this before. She also shows us the great memory methods she uses so we can help our loved ones. There is hope that even an ill brain can improve it’s cognitive function. That is really GREAT NEWS! And we can strengthen our abilities now ie babyboomers so we won’t get symptoms later.
